Course 03 - Vision & Scanning
Course 01 taught the playmaker WHEN to scan (in the seconds before reception) and HOW to scan (mechanics of the shoulder check). Course 03 teaches WHAT to scan for, IN WHICH ORDER to scan, and HOW TO TRANSLATE the information into immediate decisions. Vision and scanning are two skills, not one. Vision is the field-wide perception that operates continuously. Scanning is the deliberate visual check that gathers specific information. Elite playmakers combine both into one constant cycle that runs throughout the entire possession phase — not only when the ball is about to arrive.
