Course 10 - Decision-Making Under Pressure
The shadow striker is the role with the **most binary decisions per match** of any attacking player. Where the playmaker has time to compose, the striker has a clear default (finish), and the winger has a primary action (cross or carry), the shadow striker must constantly pivot between three modes (Connector, Arrival Threat, Presser) AND three combination roles (Initiator, Wall, Finisher) AND five sub-zones — often within 1–3 seconds of each new picture.
