Course 01 - Introduction to the Playmaker Role
Course 01 establishes the entire identity of Unit 05 by defining what the central midfielder / playmaker actually IS — not a role defined by a position on a tactics board, but a role defined by a SPECIFIC TYPE OF DECISION: the decision to ORGANISE the game through the second-to-last touch of the team, to slow it down when it must be slowed and accelerate it when it must accelerate, and to convert defensive recoveries into vertical penetrations through one well-weighted, well-disguised pass.
